Parallel Channel graph object & lines snapping to 45'

Hi,
I'd like to see Parallel Channel graph object implemented. For months, I've been drawing parallel channels with two lines and trying to align their angles manually and it is a pain and a time sink. Related to this request is the automatic alignment of segments/trendlines to 45' angles, which is also annoying the same way.
I know that auto alignment is on the roadmap; maybe if enough people want it, it might get a bump in priorities. If not, no worries.
