Keep %risk fixed when adjusting SL or entry level on a pending order

Hi,

Can we add an option to keep the %risk per trade fixed when adjusting SL or entry level on a pending order?

For context: I adjust my SL or entry level if my pending order does not get filled on the next candle. When I do that the lot size stays constant, which changes my overall risk per trade. I would like to keep the risk per trade constant (which leads to adjusting the lot size). My understanding is that this is not possible yet and I have to cancel the pending order manually and input a new order. Sometimes this goes on for 5 or more candles which slows down my manual backtesting process by a lot.

Hi,

What we can do is to authorize the modification of lots number of pending orders. Since this kind of orders are not yet triggered on the markets, it's understandable that it could be modified. It's not the case for instant orders.
Since we will add the possibility to modify the lots number of pending orders, it will be possible to keep the previous risk percentage.

That sounds like a good compromise. Looking forward to testing this out!

Will there be an option to set a HotKey to open the properties of the latest pending order? In that way the risk could be adjusted way quicker than going the pending order tab, right clicking on the last pending order, selecting properties and then changing the risk. This would make manual backtesting considerably faster.

Agreed. I was thinking about this.

Maybe double clicking on the SL, entry or target line of a pending order can open its properties just like in MetaTrader? If one has more than one pending order, a shortcut will only let you edit the last one.
