Proposed adjustments to trade opening

Post by Tomasz Kot »

Could you consider a few adjustments below, so that opening trades (with visual sl and tp lines) would be quicker/easier?

1. When we use a hotkey for opeing a trade, could the lines for sl and tp (also line for entry price if not using market order) be already visible on the screen, without clicking two pencil buttons each time?

2. Then, could you enable dragging the lines (before opening) to change any of the above values (again, without clicking pencil button(s)).
(If risk% is chosen, dragging sl line before the trade is opened should change sl price, but risk value should stay the same, so lots should be automatically recalculated).

3. Whether it is a buy are a sell, could be automatically determined from position of the lines, without the necessity of checking option "BUY" or "SELL" each time (again less clicking).

4. It would be useful if a label of tp line would have information about RR and profit (monetary) value (instead of Pips only). By dragging tp line, the values would be changing.
The label of sl line would have inforamtion about loss value.

I believe the above adjustments would make opening trades more convenient. :)

Hello,

Thanks for your suggestions.
We think that most of your requests should be fullfilled by the trading view Short/Long position tool that we have designed.
It works just like the Tradingview Short/Long position tool, you drag it on the chart, you have the SL/TP set (1.) and can change them (2.), you have the R/R ratio displayed (4.), and you can create the order by right-clicking on it.
It will be available in the next release.

Thanks for your request, it has been implemented via the Long/Short position tool in the last update.
